Stop guessing, start training with purpose.

Gym training is simpler than most people think. The challenge is knowing what actually matters.

My approach

There's no need to overcomplicate your training. I'll help you focus on the fundamentals that actually drive progress, so you can make your time in the gym count.

Learn to train properly

You'll learn how to perform exercises with appropriate technique and understand why they're part of your program.

Train with purpose

Your sessions have clear objectives. We'll work hard enough to create the stimulus needed to actually improve.

Keep progressing

We're here to get better so we'll aim to improve from workout to workout, making sure your hard work translates into measurable progress.

Lewis Kelham, personal trainer, smiling with arms crossed

Hi, I'm Lewis

I have over 7 years of experience working in the fitness industry as both a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach, alongside studies in a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science. I've had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients and help them work towards their individual exercise goals. I've always been passionate about sport and fitness, and continue to make my own health and training a key part of my life.

With busy lifestyles, finding the time to focus on our health isn't always easy. That's why I believe training should be structured and purposeful, making the most of the time we put into it. Whether you're stepping into the gym for the first time and unsure where to start, looking for some accountability or frustrated by a lack of progress, I'm here to help you train with confidence, understand what you're doing and work towards meaningful results.

Questions you might have

Can't see your question here? Send me a message below.

Do I need to have gym experience to start?

No. You start from where you are. A big part of my coaching is helping people who are unsure where to start become confident in the gym, building your ability progressively and teaching you how to train effectively along the way.

Is small group training the same as a gym class?

No. Small group training is limited to around 3-4 people, and each person has an individualised program. You are not all doing the same workout. I coach you through your own training and provide direct guidance throughout the session.

How many times per week should I train?

Most people will benefit from training 2 to 3 times per week. Your membership can be set around your goals, schedule and experience.

Do you offer nutrition guidance?

Yes, I can offer general nutrition guidance to support your training, including building eating habits that help you work towards your body composition goals.

What's included in the Initial Planning Session?

The Initial Planning Session gives us time to set you up with your program, get familiar with the gym space, and to understand the training process before getting into your first small group session. We will go through any questions you might have and ensure you're feeling comfortable and confident right from the get-go. If you decide not to sign up to a small group membership after your Initial Planning Session, the session is billed at $99.

How is my monthly fee calculated?

Your monthly fee is based on how many sessions you train each week, averaged across the year, so you pay the same amount every month.

What happens if I need to cancel a session or pause my membership?

Cancelling a session: There is a 12-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made with more than 12 hours notice can be rescheduled within the same month, subject to availability. Sessions cancelled with less than 12 hours notice are forfeited.

Pausing your membership: Memberships can be paused for prolonged absences. If I am away or sessions cannot be rescheduled, your monthly fee will be adjusted accordingly.
